Region 12859 [N18E08] developed as new flux emerged. The region produced a C3 flare at 18:18 UT which triggered a filament eruption. An EIT wave covering a large part of the visible disk was observed afterwards. A faint full halo CME could be seen in LASCO imagery. Further C class flares are possible.
