Region 12816 [S25W03] developed polarity intermixing during the latter half of the day as patches of positive polarity emerged within the leading polarity area. A long duration C3.9 event was recorded peaking at 04:35 UT on April 22. Significant coronal dimming was observed in all directions SDO/AIA imagery after this event, and it is very likely that a full halo CME was produced. LASCO imagery covering the hours after the LDE are not available at the time this is written.
