Region 12987 [S29W73] 01 developed further with a magnetic delta forming within a central penumbra. Note that SWPC has this as AR 12992, however, this faulty region numbering is the result of inaccurate coordinate tracking of AR 12987. Further M class flares are possible as the region rotates over the southwest limb.
