New region 12962 [N27E55] 30 emerged with tiny spots in an old plage area. There is polarity intermixing near the center of the region. C and M class flaring is possible. C1 flares: C1.7 @ 18:36, C1.0 @ 22:07 UT. The latter flare was incorrectly attributed to AR 12960 by SWPC.
